Representatives of JSC Basalt Projects have signed a Memorandum of Understanding and Mutually Beneficial Cooperation with the delegation of Brazil
The negotiations between the representatives of JSC Basalt Projects and the delegation of Brazil took place in Moscow from 1 to 5 June 2015 with the main purpose to establish mutually beneficial cooperation in construction of production facilities for manufacturing continuous basalt fiber (CBF) reinforced composites in the state of Parana.
The parties were represented by:
- Luilson Swschwartz, a representative of the State of Parana administration;
- Valter Cano, the owner of Ekosolos;
- Alexander Novitsky, Deputy Director for Technologies of JSC Basalt Projects;
- Maksim Chernykh, CEO of JSC Basalt Projects.
On the first day of the meeting, a Memorandum of Understanding and Mutual Cooperation was signed. It also included the agreement between JSC Basalt Projects and Ekosolos on the provision of engineering services during the construction of the plant for manufacturing continuous basalt fiber reinforced composites with a capacity not less than 2,000 tons / year and on the supply of basalt roving from Russia.
During the meeting, the representatives of JSC Basalt Projects and the delegation from the state of Parana visited several Russian CBF production facilities.
